ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting new opportunity within our Brisbane Team and are seeking to hire an experienced Senior Audio-Visual Technician. You will be providing cutting edge technical services for conferences, seminars, gala dinners plus more.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installing and operating a wide range of audio, vision, event staging, IT and lighting technologies on high profile events
  • Leading teams on projects
  • Working on conferences, gala dinners, and similar corporate events/productions
  • Assist in designing creative concepts for events
  • Work on high profile events (eg. EKKA)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • Experience in Audio, Vision and Lighting technologies
  • A solid understanding of the conferencing or staging industry
  • A passion for technology
  • Direct experience operating events
  • Driven to provide outstanding customer service
  • A valid open driver's license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in conferencing, gala dinners, and similar corporate events/productions
  • Highly developed organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams with confidence
  • Rigging certification (highly favourable)
  • EWP (Yellow card or HRWL) (highly favourable)
  • Ability to work a variety of hours, day and night
  • Ability to lift audio visual equipment
