AV Installation Technician

This role involves working alongside experienced technicians to deliver high-quality audio-visual installations and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structured cabling installation with precision and attention to detail.
  • Expertly terminate various cable types to ensure reliable connections.
  • Install large LCD displays and projection screens for optimal visual experiences.
  • Handle the installation of speakers, microphones, and PTZ cameras to enhance audio and video capabilities.
  • Build equipment racks and assist in off-site system staging to streamline installation processes.
  • Deploy video conference systems and load device command codes, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Commission systems and provide necessary servicing while meticulously documenting project details.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated with strong hand-tool and manual handling abilities.
  • Passionate about the audio-visual industry and a strong desire for continuous learning and growth.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated high level of technical knowledge in AV and telecommunications.
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications/AV industry is advantageous.
  • Dedicated to providing top-notch customer service and technical support.
  • Possession of a valid manual driver's license with reliable transportation.
