Procurement Specialist role at Babcock Australia & New Zealand. Responsibilities- Lead strategic procurement activity, managing supplier relationships and driving sourcing strategies that align with Babcock's commercial and operational objectives.
- Lead contract negotiations, RFQ/RFI/RFT processes, and supplier performance management to ensure value, compliance, and innovation.
- Help shape procurement plans, mitigate supply chain risks, and foster collaborative partnerships across internal and external stakeholders.
- Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proven commercial acumen and negotiator, with thorough understanding of category management, supply chain mechanisms and risk assessment.
- Proven supply base management and strategic sourcing skills in a highly complex and regulated environment.
- Technical, procurement or commercial knowledge of assets, goods and services applicable to maintenance, repairs or overhauls of equipment.
- Practitioner of procurement policies, processes and procedures related to category management.
