Our client is a leading Australian property investment and funds management group, managing a multi-billion-dollar national portfolio across retail, office, industrial, and social infrastructure sectors. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative, high-performing retail destinations, the business partners with top-tier investors and retailers to drive long-term growth.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Lease Administration Manager to lead and drive best-practice lease administration across a diverse national retail portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of lease management, ensuring operational excellence, legislative compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives.

The Role:

• Lead the administration of lease agreements across a significant retail portfolio, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Oversee a high-volume pipeline of leasing matters, managing negotiations, amendments, variations, and ancillary documentation.
• Collaborate closely with legal partners to ensure documentation aligns with relevant retail leasing legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the central point of contact for internal teams, tenants, and legal providers, fostering strong relationships and providing expert guidance.
• Maintain accurate reporting of lease activity, ensuring timely updates for senior leadership and supporting strategic decision-making.

The Candidate:

• Significant lease administration experience within retail.
• In-depth understanding of the RLA.
• Proven ability to interpret, negotiate, and manage complex lease documentation.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
• A proactive mindset, strong business acumen, and the confidence to influence at senior levels.
