  • Support our team\'s shift toward modular, testable, and well-documented pipelines using software development best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable code in Python, including internal domain-specific transformations and utilities.

  • Solid understanding of data streaming concepts and tools like Apache Kafka and Flink.
  • Familiar with Infrastructure as Code practices, especially using Terraform.
  • Proficiency in Python, ideally with experience building utilities or data-specific libraries.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services, particularly S3, Lambda, API Gateway and SageMaker.
  • Familiar with software development best practices such as version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD.
  • A problem-solver mindset with a strong focus on delivering business value through data.
  • Must have valid Australian working rights
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with event-driven architectures and CDC tools like Debezium.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) or alternative job schedulers.
  • Exposure to generative AI applications, frameworks or natural language interfaces in data tooling.
  • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and cataloging tools.
Why Join Us?
  • Work with a global passionate, collaborative, and experienced team.
  • Help shape and extend our AI-powered internal Slack bot, giving teammates seamless access to data and insights via natural language.
  • Have real impact on how data is leveraged across a fast-growing organization.
