Investment Associate, Growth Private Equity

JMES are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a preeminent growth investor in Australia as they seek to hire two Associates to join their established team. With newly raised capital and a quality portfolio of scaling businesses, they are active investors who work together with management teams to unlock growth in healthcare businesses across Australia and New Zealand. The team works closely with their portfolio to deliver value creation and growth strategies that will grow lasting businesses whilst remaining laser focused on discovering new investment opportunities for the team.

As an Investment Associate you will support the existing team across the full lifecycle of Private Equity including providing financial and commercial due diligence on potential new opportunities, executing investment processes and partnering closely with the portfolio companies in their journeys, and where relevant with bolt on opportunities.

To be successful you will have ideally gained 3-4 years' experience from strategy / management consulting, corporate advisory or from another private capital investor. Candidates will display a natural curiosity for investing, an interest in the healthcare sector and will be able to build meaningful relationships with management teams and service providers, displaying deep empathy and a humble nature. This firm offers a great working culture with a collegiate and supportive team and would provide a first-class environment for candidates to build their career in Private Equity, learning from a highly experienced team.
