Associate, Real Estate Credit & Asset Management, Sydney, AustraliaNegotiable Salary and Competitive Benefits PackageWe are actively looking to engage with real estate finance talent based in Sydney who are currently considering a move and fit the following candidate profile.Your profile:You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or a similar.You have atleast 3+ years of relevant professional experience gained from within the commercial real estate transaction space.You are familiar with commercial real estate valuation methods and principles.You understand different real estate property types and their corresponding lease agreements.You are capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and adhering to deadlines.You possess strong analytical and mathematical abilities.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.The role will involve working closely with commercial real estate private equity funds carrying out many of the following tasks. Experience and exposure of carrying out these will be required.Monitoring and assessing performance of secured assets relative to original underwriting or business plans, and market conditions.Undertaking client reporting on a monthly or quarterly basis.Developing and updating sophisticated models for cash flow projections and valuations on a quarterly and annual basis.Ensuring compliance with covenants as stipulated in loan agreements.Managing the coordination and thorough review of both debt and equity funding requests promptly, including analysis of third-party valuations and other consultant reports.Performing detailed quantitative analysis, including comparisons of budgeted, actual, and forecasted cash flows.Tracking and evaluating the advancement of business strategies and capital expenditure plans.Coordination with the onboarding of new loans including the collection of all necessary loan documents and ensuring accurate entry of the loan into the relevant systems.Analyzing and providing insights on proposed commercial property lease agreements.Responding to ad hoc financial analysis and data inquiries efficiently.Overseeing the collection and analysis of semi-annual and annual financial statements.Managing the collection and evaluation of annual operating and capital budgets.Conducting market research to gather industry performance statistics across various property types.Oversee and ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures, identifying and addressing any discrepancies to maintain the highest level of product or service excellence.Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance team performance and service delivery.This is a permanent role, located in Sydney, offering a competitive salary and package for someone with circa 3 - 5 years of relevant commercial real estate finance experience.
