Job Description for Network Technical Team Lead in Adelaide

The candidate will manage the Network Team, including providing team members with career development guidance, assignment and prioritization of workload, performance reviews, personal and professional development coaching, and all other aspects of personnel management.

Responsible for organizing and driving the evaluation of the architecture and planning future enhancements of the network environment.

Take a lead role in resolving technical issues by providing guidance or taking ownership to drive them to closure.

Create best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends.

Perform administration duties on network devices, including installation, debugging, maintenance, upgrades, and general support.

Document diagrams, policies, and procedures for newly deployed systems and review them annually.

Participate actively in lifecycle management to ensure infrastructure security through software updates and assist with testing proposed updates.

Proactively monitor the network and services to ensure high performance and SLA targets are achieved.

Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.

Review system data for capacity planning.

Interface with vendors for procurement and maintenance.

Maintain knowledge of emerging network tools and technologies.

Coordinate with the Network Systems Team to meet objectives.

Manage multiple tasks and incidents efficiently to meet goals.

Act as a technical escalation point to resolve incidents and tasks.

Participate in an on-call rotation and be available for out-of-hours support.

Perform other duties as required by the Service Delivery Manager.
