Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state's emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria's 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role
The Policy and Project Officer plays a key role in the provision of policy and project management support across the organisation.
Reporting into the Senior Policy and Project Officer, this role is responsible for contributing to the implementation of various projects and initiatives, proactively collaborating with and supporting internal and external stakeholders, and meeting project objectives.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain relevant project documentation such as Project Management Plans, status reports, and high-quality briefings, reports and submissions for a range of audiences.
- Review, analyse and interpret recommendations from inquiries and legal policies to support the provision of accurate and strategic policy advice to stakeholders.
- Organise project-related meetings and workshops, and develop and maintain lessons management tools, processes and data.
- Support the organisation's continuous improvement approach through the development and implementation of policy projects.
- Keep up to date with new, emerging and current strategic issues and opportunities relating to policy reform and the broader emergency management reform environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a customer-focused critical thinker who is able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You will have experience delivering complex projects within short timeframes.
The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare high quality, accurate and detailed documents, reports and correspondence for senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret data from various sources and provide strategic policy advice to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of the project lifecycle and project methodologies.
- Experience supporting policy reform or projects within the public sector (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
