Overview

Join to apply for the EOI - Project Engineer : Civil role at UGL. This site-based FIFO/DIDO position is in Western Australia and supports UGL's New Energy team on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects and related energy initiatives.

UGL's New Energy national business is growing, delivering projects in Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Wind, Hydrogen and Ammonia. The role focuses on earthworks, in-ground services and civil structures to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery in line with client contracts.

Your responsibilities
  • Planning and conducting professional engineering work without direct supervision
  • Consult, recommend, and advise on specialist engineering areas
  • Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities
  • Control and manage technical interfaces between disciplines, equipment suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and assess project constructability
Your skills and experience
  • Tertiary Engineering Qualifications in Civil / Structural or equivalent
  • Substantial experience in Civil / Structural Engineering of energy/utilities projects
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills; ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
