Opportunity to be involved

The purpose of this role is to support an efficient and effective audit function. This role supports the design and delivery of ARPC's cedant review program for premiums

Role responsibilities include:

• Support Cedant Review Program: Assist in designing, delivering, and finalising ARPC's annual premium audit program, including conducting cedant reviews and coordinating related activities.
• Data Analysis & Technical Guidance: Analyse premium and data submissions for accuracy and trends and provide expert advice on data variances and technical queries from cedants and the underwriting team.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare clear, structured reports on review outcomes and contribute to discussions with cedants to agree on recommendations and implementation strategies.
• Process Improvement & Risk Identification: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and potential risks that could influence ARPC's audit practices.
• Cross-Functional Support: Participate in ad-hoc audit projects, assist with cedant refunds and offsets, support IT system testing, and contribute to leadership reporting.

Candidate attributes:

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business or Commerce - Desired
• Qualified or prepared to study toward qualification to ANZIIF Senior Associate level - Desired

Experience

• Experience in the reinsurance, insurance industry, audit or finance sector - Mandatory
• Working knowledge of financial services (insurance, reinsurance and/or banking) – Mandatory
• Experience writing Audit Reports - Desired

Note

The role is based in Sydney CBD, and you must be an Australian citizen and be able to obtain the Australian Government's baseline security clearance successfully.
