Job Description

Cloud Consulting Architect:

  • Must Have requirements
    • Minimum of 15+ years of IT Experience, 6+ Years of Experience as an Architect/Pre/Post-Sales Tech Support, 5+ Years of Public Cloud Experience
    • Strong experience leading an Enterprise client building strategy / roadmap for them
    • Strong experience leading Pre-Post Tech Sales activities as a Cloud Architect
    • Strong understanding of one of the Public Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
    • Strong leadership skills working in customer facing environment
    • Responsible for steering / driving the most important and complex future domain planning activities and projects. Involved in the development of application/infra domain policies, standards and guidelines that direct the research / investigation, selection, development, implementation, and use of IT within the organization.
    • Responsible for development and maintenance of Enterprise Architecture frameworks and approaches for application domain, architecture governance and tooling, domain leadership role to work with other functions of the Enterprise Architecture Function to drive the maturity of the group and ensure delivery of seamless, end-to-end Enterprise Architecture Services.
    • Implementation, deployment and/or Program Management for Azure IaaS, PaaS, Technologies
    • Creation of SOW/BOM/Architecture design documents based on Customer requirements
      • Must have Technical Requirements
        • Cloud Storage best practices, scripting, Storage Security, good to have awareness about Azure Storage API including any Storage tools.
        • Solid understanding on Virtual Machines, Imaging Best Practices, ability to provide proactive Guidance on creating/deploying/managing VM's either through images or ARM templates.
        • Strong understanding of Cloud Networking including Virtual Network Designing a must
        • Work with Azure to integrate network-specific products and services to improve our ecosystem.
        • Understanding of Load Balancing, Geo-Redundancy, CDN and VPN technologies preferred.
        • Strong Understanding of Security Controls of cloud (Network Security, End Point Security , IAM
        • Design around DevOps / Continuous Integration model, implement robust security measures and practice DevOps and agile principles
        • Ability to automate Azure Operational related task leveraging PowerShell, Azure Automation
        • Should possess Architectural knowledge to guide customer in achieving High Availability, Disaster Recovery for workloads running in Azure
        • Good understanding of Micro-Services Architecture (Kubernetes)
        • Should have a good understanding of Cloud (Azure, AWS) cost/billing propositions.
        • Should have a good understanding of Open-source technologies used for native cloud applications
        • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
        • Excellent written skills and familiarity with Architecture tools (Visio/PPT etc..)
        • Travel to customer site required as needed (50%)
        • Azure or AWS Solution Architect certification is required
        • Togaf or any other Architect certification is a Plus
