
Assistant / Paralegal – Dispute Resolution

Heinz Law is a dynamic law firm dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients. With a strong commitment to excellence and a culture of collaboration, we are expanding our team. We are looking for a motivated Assistant or Paralegal to work part time or full time in our Dispute Resolution department. This role will ideally be located in Ballarat.
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers. This role demands a high degree of versatility, professionalism, and a keen ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities- Preparing legal documents and letters;
- Diary management;
- Answering phones and liaising with clients;
- Archiving;
- Billing/managing trust and office receipts, etc;
- File management (including liaison with clients, Government entities etc); and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
