Overview

Working from centres or our Gladesville Office, the Quality and Compliance Manager at Mini Masterminds is responsible for developing and implementing the organisation's compliance and quality strategies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all centres. This role involves close collaboration with the Department of Education, internal teams, and key stakeholders to maintain high standards of early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the compliance and quality strategy in alignment with Mini Masterminds' philosophy/ values and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay abreast of changes in legislation, regulations, and best practices in early childhood education and care, ensuring timely updates to policies and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Department of Education, managing the submission of notifications, documents, and compliance plans.
  • Ensure all communications and submissions meet regulatory standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular quality and compliance audits across all Mini Masterminds centres.
  • Analyse audit findings, develop actionable improvement plans, and monitor their implementation to completion.
  • Collaborate with Area Managers to investigate compliance issues, providing guidance and support to resolve matters effectively.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to develop and support high-quality Centre Support Plans.
  • Ensure operational practices align with compliance standards and promote excellence in service delivery.
  • Design and implement training programs for Centre Directors and key stakeholders on compliance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead strategic planning for rating and assessment processes, ensuring centres are prepared and supported.
  • Provide in-centre support during assessments, facilitating optimal outcomes.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a compliance or quality assurance role within the early childhood education sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), and relevant legislation.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits, developing compliance strategies, and liaising with regulatory bodies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive organizational change.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
