Job Title: Territory Manager

Euro Auctions is the market leader in Europe, conducting unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment, and agricultural machinery on a global basis.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Territory Manager to join our team based in Brisbane.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a machinery enthusiast with an entrepreneurial nature. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for securing heavy equipment consignments, growing your territory, and maximising sales through your established network of contacts in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Secure heavy equipment consignments and fill the auction yard ahead of each sale date.
  • Grow your territory through superior new business development skills and maximise consignments using your established network of contacts.
  • Consign equipment to any Euro Auctions sale site around the world, maximising earning potential.
The Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualities:

  • A machinery enthusiast with an entrepreneurial nature who can maximise sales from new and existing customers.
  • An excellent negotiator with the ability to spot opportunities and act on them.
  • Experience in hunting new business opportunities using current and innovative techniques.
  • Competence in creating demand for consigned heavy equipment.
  • A self-starter who can work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and attract Buyers and Sellers to our auctions.
Requirements:
  • A proven sales record with minimum 4 years of experience in the Construction, Agriculture, Transport Sector, or associated industries.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Attendance at relevant auctions.
  • An established network of contacts within the industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of the current national and global market.
  • Familiarity with the Auction industry, buying, selling, and bid-catching at Auctions.
