Location: Nowra, New South Wales. Full-time permanent role.
Salary: $76,302 - $85,765 gross p.a. plus 12% Super plus allowances. 38 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with a 9 day fortnight. Based from Bomaderry Precinct Depot. Applications close Monday, 29 September 2025.
About The RoleThis position is responsible for undertaking efficient building construction and maintenance works for the Shoalhaven Swim, Sport & Fitness department public buildings. This includes:
- Lead and coordinate tradesman, contractors, plant equipment and materials on building construction and maintenance projects
- Carry out building condition inspections and record information in data bases
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for building works and monitor expenditure of budgets
- Liaise with staff and the public to deliver excellent service
- Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies and child safety protocols

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About YouTo be successful in the position, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Building and or Construction or equivalent experience
- Proven trade experience at a senior level
- Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White card)
- Current Class C Driver's License
- Willingness to obtain a First Aid Certificate
- A current NSW Working with Children Check Job Description
- Proof of Right to Work in Australia
