Early Childhood Educators- Balnarring ELC (perm and casual)

Mayfield Early Education is hiring to join the Balnarring ELC team. As part of the Mayfield team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children in our care.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring child safety and wellbeing through active supervision.
  • Collaborating with the team on age-appropriate curriculum implementation.
  • Providing personalised attention, addressing unique learning styles and needs of the children in our care.
  • Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
  • Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere that embraces diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
Qualifications
  • Working toward or holding a minimum of a Certificate III in ECEC (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of NQF and EYLF.
  • Passion for the Early Childhood sector and ability to engage with children, families, teammates, and the wider community.
