The Opportunity

Balnarring ELC seeks a passionate educator to join us as an Educational Leader. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing environment for children.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring child safety and wellbeing through active supervision.
  • Collaborating with the team on curriculum implementation.
  • Providing personalized attention to address unique learning styles and needs.
  • Guiding behaviour through positive reinforcement for social and emotional development.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents about a child's progress and concerns.
  • Actively participating in team meetings for a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere embracing diverse backgrounds in a culturally sensitive manner.
You

To be successful, you should:

  • Hold or be working towards a minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Have a valid Working With Children Check.
  • Be trained in Child Protection, Red Nose, and Food Safety (or willing to obtain).
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Child Safe Standards, NQF, and EYLF.
  • Have a passion for the Early Childhood sector, enjoying relationships with children, families, teammates, and the community.
