YEM are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor who is available for an immediate start to join the team in the West Perth Office and Sites.

About The Role

YEM are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor who is available for an immediate start to join the team in the West Perth Office and Sites.

The position is full-time aiding the team with chances to advance your career.
  • There is a regular requirement to travel and work on site every 3 to 4 weeks for several days at a time.

Reporting to Management, the position has a range of responsibilities including:
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements (i.e. Fair Work Act 2009), client specifications and YEM procedures and enterprise agreements are always complied with.
  • Provide operational HR advice, coaching and guidance on a range of complex and sensitive HR related matters including employee relations, legislation, and performance management.
  • Assist with Injury Management
  • Assist in Payroll functions and provide support and cover for payroll function.
  • Assist in Investigating and actioning pay queries.
  • Review and update YEM Technology HR Policies and Procedures to ensure they meet legislative/ business requirements.

What We're Looking For

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources Cert IV minimum or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working on remote sites / supporting FIFO operations and availability to travel regularly to site.
  • Knowledge of HR experience (Performance Management, IR knowledge, ROE's Sound knowledge of HR IR Legislation)
  • Minimum 2+ years of HR experience.
  • Experience and understanding of payroll practices / employment agreements.
  • Self-motivated and autonomous with effective problem-solving skills, high level of initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work in a team environment.
  • In house training on HR Procedures.

In Addition, It Would Be Preferable To Have
  • Experience using INX, ADP and Job Adder
  • Experience in injury management / workers compensation
  • Payroll and HR Advisor
