The Role

We are seeking a friendly and genuine team player to join our Mount Pleasant branch team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the finance industry or who is seeking a good work/life balance.

As a Personal Banking Consultant (Lending), you will be expertly skilled across our products and services to educate Members on the features, benefits, set up and ongoing use. In addition, the successful candidate will be confident with managing and processing basic to complex personal and credit card lending as well as basic mortgage lending.

This is a full-time role, based on a 38 hour work week Monday to Friday. The successful may also be required to work across any branch in the region.

Further duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assist the Local Manager with business development and the management and processing of complex loans.
• Organise loan distribution and ensure that cheques are accurately issued to the appropriate parties
• Assist with training and coaching of staff
• Own the retention program in relation to the mortgage book for our Mount Pleasant members

Selection Criteria

• Lending experience and sales skills
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Sound mathematical skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Sounds understanding of Queensland Country products and services (desired)
