Your New Role

Are you customer service-focused with strong attention to detail? Join our team as a Weighbridge Operator and play a key role in supporting our operations at the Canberra yard

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge office and liaise with customers and truck drivers
• Manage bulk shipping activities, answer calls, and record-keeping
• Create transfers for intercompany transactions
• Maintain an organised office, including files and records
• Provide administrative support to the Yard Manager
• Demonstrate a high focus on safety
• Perform yard duties as required

To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have

• Proven customer service skills
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Strong computer skills, specifically data entry, speed and accuracy
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work as part of a small team
• Friendly telephone manner
• Organised approach and time management
• Previous weighbridge experience is advantageous but not essential
