The role will also overlook the National Convention Centre Canberra. This is a unique venue, with events ranging from innovative gala dinners to delicious catering for large multi-day conferences. Our prestigious and diverse range of annual events allow us to showcase our unique product and service to our guests here at the NCCC.

This role is a truly unique opportunity within the IHG portfolio to work between a Crowne Plaza Hotel and the National Convention Centre Canberra.

**Your day to day**
Day to day you will report to the Assistant Finance Manager and asssit with daily processing auditing and monthly reconciliations.
- Daily Cashiering,
- Reconcilition of overnight Auditing
- Following up accounts
- Ensuring billing accurate
- Internal Auditing at times tasks may be assigned pertaining to assisting in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

Or any other accounting duties as directed for the ACT businesses of Crowne Plaza Canberra and the National Convention Centre Canberra.

**What we need from you**
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, knowledge of accounting/book keeping fundamentals, competent in the use of Microsoft Office in particular excels, excellent attention to detail and timely follow up with any issues.

This role will suit someone who is strong administratively.

Experience in Front Office, Night Audit, or book keeping is preffered.

You must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
