The School

Hammond Park Secondary College is located in Hammond Park on Irvine Parade. The college opened in 2020 to Year 7 students and features state-of-the-art classrooms, a library, administration and extensive student services, with specialist facilities for performing and visual arts, science laboratories, food and textiles, design and technology spaces, and a gymnasium. The Role

Hammond Park SC is seeking an engaging and dedicated Digital Technologies Teacher to join our college. Our facilities enable us to create meaningful courses. Teachers with experience in teaching Technologies across Years 7 to 12 are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff and community members and engage with our community to ensure valid pathways and opportunities for all students.

We are seeking an innovative teacher to grow the program and create senior school pathways in Digital Technologies. The college has an Instructional Framework and a Performance Growth and Coaching Framework based on coaching and continuous feedback. The successful applicant should be willing to grow and learn our instructional approaches and be open to observations and feedback in a culture of shared practice and learning from one another. The college places wellbeing at the centre of what we do and has a Wellbeing Framework based on the PERMAH principles, influencing policies and curriculum in Homeroom and learning areas. • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment
