The Social Media Manager role is ideal for someone who brings a strong mix of client management experience, platform knowledge, and strategic thinking. You'll be responsible for owning day-to-day relationships with clients, managing social campaigns from briefing through to reporting, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that aligns with client goals.
This role is hands-on, but also client-facing — requiring someone who can think strategically, respond to client needs with confidence, and lead internal teams to deliver impactful social media content and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day management of client accounts, building strong, trusted relationships
- Act as the key point of contact for social media-related client needs, ensuring briefs are clear and delivered on time
- Develop and implement social strategies aligned to client objectives and KPIs
- Oversee social campaign planning and execution across platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Guide the development of creative briefs for social content, collaborating with internal teams to bring ideas to life
- Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Present performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients with confidence
- Be a brand champion for your clients, ensuring work is on-brand and aligned to tone of voice and messaging
- Stay across industry trends and platform updates to keep strategies fresh and relevant
- Effective delivery of feedback and development of people growth plans.
- Assist in client planning, quarterly reviews, and strategy development sessions
- Support senior team members with the preparation of proposals, content calendars, and strategic presentations
- Help drive integration of social campaigns within broader marketing strategies
- Assist in resolving client challenges or issues quickly and collaboratively
- Contribute to team upskilling through sharing knowledge, case studies, or learnings
- Continuously seek ways to improve internal processes and client experience
- Build on your own platform expertise, campaign strategy, and account leadership skills
