Managing Director @ Healthii People | People.Health.Community. | Partnering with Healthcare organisations in support of both Temporary & Permanent…Healthii People is pleased to be partnering with Lilliane Brady Village situated in far western New South Wales in a town called Cobar for the recruitment of a Clinical Care Manager to join their 44 bed aged care facility. The Lilliane Brady Village which is owned and operated by the Cobar Shire Council has been in operation since the 22nd of August, 1982. This facility was established after extensive fund-raising by the local community, the Cobar Geriatric Committee and the Cobar Geriatric Care Committee.
Benefits on Offer include:
- Base of $120,000 to $130,000 plus Super
- RDO every month
- Applicable allowances in accordance with the Nurses' (Local Government) Residential Aged Care Consolidated (State) Award.
- Accommodation provided - 3 bedroom hours and capped at $100 a week
As the Clinical Care Manager you will be a qualified, motivated and highly experienced Registered Nurse, who can oversee the care and compliance for the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring clinical staff to ensure best-practice care
- Supporting culturally inclusive, person-centred care across the home
- Implementing and maintaining compliance with AN-ACC and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Promoting a positive workplace culture with a focus on continuous improvement
- Working collaboratively with families, allied health, and external providers
To be considered for this role, you will be:
- Previous experience managing aged care facilities
- Clinical care experience in an aged care environment
- A hands-on approach to clinical care and leadership to build empowered staff and a positive culture
- The willingness to cover shifts 'on the floor' in accordance with operational requirements to ensure roster compliance
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of our success drivers including relationship management, quality and accreditation standards, occupancy requirements and AN-ACC assessment guidelines and principles
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills
