The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) for Western Australia is the independent prosecuting authority for serious offences under State criminal law. The ODPP plays a critical role in the administration of justice, providing an independent and effective criminal prosecution service that is both just and fair. Operating independently from the Government, the ODPP ensures that justice is served while the Director reports to the Attorney General for the Office's operations. Crime investigations are handled by agencies such as WA Police and the Corruption and Crime Commission.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Service Support Analyst located on-site in Perth, WA. The Service Support Analyst will be responsible for providing tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, maintaining and managing IT systems and infrastructure, developing documentation for technical processes, and supporting the implementation of new technologies. Collaboration with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and effective IT service delivery is also essential.

Qualifications

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in maintaining and managing IT systems and infrastructure
  • Proficiency in developing documentation for technical processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with IT service management practices and tools is a plus
