We're on the lookout for passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as a Buying Manager, specializing in either food or non-food categories. If you have a strong background in retail and a keen eye for trends and opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Research market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify gaps and growth opportunities for new products.
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers, both locally and internationally. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value and ensure supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, R&D, QA, Operations) to develop and launch new products, from concept to shelf.
  • Build and manage a strategic product assortment that aligns with the company's positioning and customer expectations.
  • Ensure that all new product introductions meet profitability targets through effective cost control, pricing strategies, and margin optimization.
  • Monitor sales performance, customer feedback, and market response. Make data-driven decisions to refine assortments and improve future product launches.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure all new products meet quality standards, safety regulations, and brand requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • Diploma or higher in any field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in retail, preferably in fresh groceries or related categories.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen sense of commercial opportunity and consumer trends.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a customer- and results-focused mindset.
  • Experience in buying or purchasing is an advantage.
  • Leadership experience is a plus, though not mandatory.
