What this opportunity involves

The Global Asset Management Director is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our client's $3.3 billion global real estate portfolio.

You will lead a team of property professionals, fostering innovation, and championing best practices in both developed and emerging markets worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimise global asset management plans using advanced technology platforms to maximize portfolio performance and user adoption
  • Lead asset, property, and program management functions ensuring consistent service delivery and operational excellence across all regional markets
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide investment advisory services to support strategic decision-making for internal stakeholders and clients
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and internal/external partners to drive business growth
  • Drive operational efficiencies and process improvements across global asset management operations through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams of asset management, property management, and program management professionals globally
  • Champion digital transformation and innovation by implementing cutting-edge technologies and digital solutions across all management functions
  • Integrate ESG principles into asset management strategies ensuring sustainability and governance standards are met across the portfolio
  • Execute strategic planning and risk management initiatives to optimize portfolio performance and mitigate investment risks
  • Establish and maintain best practices and standardisation of processes to enhance quality outcomes and organizational efficiency
Qualifications
  • You must be an Australian Citizen with ability to gain and retain a Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance
  • You will have extensive experience in real estate asset management in a senior leadership role with a proven track record of managing large-scale, diverse real estate portfolios across multiple geographic regions.
  • Experience in both developed and emerging markets is highly desirable and a deep understanding of global real estate markets, investment strategies, and asset classes.
  • You will have strong financial acumen and experience in investment analysis and risk management and be proficient in asset management software and financial analysis tools.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to operate effectively in diverse global markets is essential and you will be expected to demonstrate and foster key leadership behaviours including client focus, collaboration, and strategic agility.
  • You will bring strong negotiation and problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset with a focus on driving digital transformation
  • A master's degree in real estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field is desirable
  • Ability to do international travels, but this will be infrequent
