Toll Aviation Overview

As part of the Toll Group, Toll Aviation operates nationally and is seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant in Brisbane. Our team has diverse experience in various operations, including remote, maritime, and mountainous locations.

The Role: Accounts Assistant

This role will support accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting for financial operations within the aviation industry. You will work closely with the Senior Commercial Lead/Analyst and utilize SAP and other tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage Accounts Payable inbox for timely processing and communication
  • Code invoices and follow up on approvals
  • Process vendor invoices within the engineering system
  • Handle queries regarding invoicing, ledger coding, and approvals
  • Support raising or settling purchase orders
  • Assist in preparing reports for management using MS Office
  • Collect data to support Toll Aviation's broader business
  • Support reconciliation tasks as needed
To Succeed in This Role
  • Experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field (advantageous)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
  • Excellent administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation and ability to prioritize
