Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage with a strong presence in the Insurance industry, is seeking an experienced Client Manager or Senior Client Manager to join their team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a dynamic portfolio, work closely with senior stakeholders, and be part of a high-performing and collaborative environment.
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth our client is expanding their team and looking for a capable professional who can:- Manage and grow your own book of corporate general insurance clients
- Gather underwriting information, assess risk profiles, and anticipate client insurance needs
- Lead client meetings for renewals and new business, delivering tailored insurance solutions
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with clients and underwriters
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and events to support business development (occasional interstate travel and out-of-hours work required)
- Deliver exceptional customer service and strategic advice across the portfolio
- Stay current with industry trends and market movements
The ideal candidate will have:- 5+ years' experience in general insurance broking and business development
- Tier 1 Compliance (essential)
- A University degree or equivalent education (desirable)
- A natural ability to build trust and rapport with clients at all levels
- Confidence in navigating complex conversations and providing sound advice
- A strong team mindset, paired with self-motivation and accountability
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
