Depot Supervisor

Location: Hobart

We are currently seeking a hands-on and motivated Depot Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our depot and lead a team of dedicated drivers. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your leadership career with a company committed to safety, service and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of bus drivers to deliver reliable and customer-focused services
  • Drive and support day-to-day operations, including scheduling, absentee management, and resource planning
  • Ensure services are delivered safely and in line with fatigue management regulations and enterprise agreements
  • Handle roster variations, pay queries and other administrative tasks to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Maintain a strong safety culture, respond to incidents, and support investigations when required
  • Foster a high-performance team culture, with a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement
  • Ensure depot presentation, fleet cleanliness, and maintenance standards are met
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, regulatory bodies and the public

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience leading teams in an operational environment
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A valid HR licence or willingness to obtain one (bus driving required)
  • Working with Children Check and current First Aid & CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with operational systems
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to safety and compliance
