About The Role
The Principal Advisor, Behaviour is responsible for:

  • Leading the development of policy responses to significant initiatives, issues, and risks related to student behaviour management in state schools.
  • Providing high-level strategic advice to senior departmental officers and key stakeholders.
  • Establishing effective networks and liaising with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Leading projects, strategic policy development, guidelines, statewide service delivery, and program evaluation.
  • Performing other duties as directed by the supervisor or delegate.

About You
The successful candidate will:

  • Provide leadership in planning and implementing the unit's priorities aligned with the department's goals.
  • Support project and policy planning to advance strategic initiatives, including Australian and State government programs.
  • Offer high-level advice to senior officers and stakeholders on relevant issues.
