Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage the Parents as Partners Pilot program in Hume Merri-bek
  • Recruit, support, and mentor Parent Partners, particularly those with lived experience, to help families experiencing cumulative harm in Hume Merri-bek
  • Collaborate with community organisations and DFFH to deliver a scalable mentoring program that promotes meaningful family engagement and empowerment

Your skills and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a community services, community development, health or human services area preferred, or relevant experience
  • Coaching or workplace change qualifications, or substantial experience in providing structured follow-on support after initial training
  • Ability to provide feedback without bias or judgement
  • Understanding of cultural safety and empathy for diverse backgrounds; commitment to improving services for Consumers and Consumer rights
