CELOTTI WORKFORCE is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Fitter to join our valued client for a full-time position. This is a hands-on roles involving mechanical fitting, machining, and supervisory duties, with a strong focus on marine propulsion and drivetrain systems.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:00pm (38 hour week)

Additional Hours: Frequent weekday overtime + Saturday half-days

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical, fitting, and machining tasks across marine and industrial projects.
• Overhaul drivetrain components including removal, installation, bearings, and seals.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to a clean and safe standard.
• Support or undertake supervisory tasks, depending on experience level.
• Plan and coordinate works to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Ensure accurate cost coding and timely submission of daily timesheets.
• Adhere to all site safety and quality management systems.

Our Ideal Candidates:

• 10–15+ years' experience in mechanical fitting, ideally marine or industrial
• Strong knowledge of propulsion systems, shafts, seals, and pipework
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams and oversee work on-site
• High attention to detail, excellent planning and communication skills
