The Governance, Assurance and Integrity team sits within the Corporate Group and is responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring adherence to policies, frameworks and processes used for governance, risk, fraud and corruption control and assurance.
The Key Duties Of The Position Include
The Fraud and Corruption Analyst is responsible for supporting the uplift of Comcare's Fraud and Corruption Detection capability, through developing practices to support proactive detection of instances of fraud and corruption and reporting to relevant teams and the Executive. This role supports meeting Comcare's obligations relating to fraud and corruption detection under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Rule 2014 (Fraud and Corruption Rule).
Primary Responsibilities
- In line with Comcare's Fraud and Corruption Control Policy and Plan, develop and implement processes and practices to support proactive detection of fraud and corruption.
- Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to identify priority risks to inform the development of Comcare's detection activities.
- Develop and implement a holistic reporting approach to provide Comcare's Executive and relevant governance committees visibility of potential and actual instances of fraud and corruption.
- Support continuous improvement through reviewing the outcomes of detection initiatives and providing recommendations to improve Comcare's management of fraud and corruption.
- Undertake other duties as directed.
- Highly Desirable:
- Qualifications to support counter fraud and corruption activities, such as fraud and corruption control and or investigations.
- Experience and or qualifications relating to data analytics or intelligence.
- Australian citizenship.
- Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
- Employee Health Declaration.
- Six months probationary period for new engagements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
