About the Role

The Technology Delivery Lead is accountable for end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of technology initiatives that align with strategic business and academic goals. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective use of technology, and embedding continuous improvement practices across all initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of technology projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and scope, while managing risks and dependencies.
• Technical Oversight: Ensure technology initiatives follow agreed standards and practices. Provide technical advice and troubleshoot issues across the delivery cycle.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop strong working relationships with academic, administrative, and vendor partners to align technology delivery with stakeholder needs.
• Teams Leadership: Lead internal and external teams, provide coaching and feedback, and align efforts with program objectives.
• Strategy Alignment: Align technology delivery with institutional strategy. Support portfolio prioritisation and resource planning.
• Performance Reporting: Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to communicate delivery performance to executives and the board.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in delivery tools, practices, and stakeholder engagement. Encourage innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise systems management, ideally in education.

Required Skills

• Proven experience delivering multiple concurrent technology projects with measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, digital platforms, and IT governance in a tertiary or creative education setting.
• Proven ability to align technology with business needs and policy frameworks.
• Experience managing internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing delivery teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
• User experience and digital mindset.
• Strong change leadership and influence capability.
