As Change Manager, you'll build trusted relationships and apply tactical insight to coordinate and deliver enterprise-wide change activities aligned to frameworks and methodologies. You'll equip business areas with the right tools and resources to build resilience, adapt, thrive and embrace change with confidence and clarity. You'll inspire and guide teams to achieve sustainable outcomes through successful change adoption.

The key duties of the position include

• Manage the implementation and delivery of change programs and projects.
• Develop and execute structured change and communication plans.
• Provide expert advice on change strategy, change readiness, impact and training needs and deployment plans.
• Prepare basic process mapping and workflow analysis.
• Track and report on change readiness, adoption metrics, and feedback.
• Lead training, coaching, and mentoring to uplift change management capability across AUSTRAC, aligned with agency frameworks and standards.
• Collaborate with divisions and branches to deliver solutions driven by business needs and requirements.
• Prepare high-quality presentation decks, change artefacts, and content for governance committees and executive audiences.

Qualifications and requirements

Required

• Knowledge and experience working on complex and/or large-scale projects, including organisational change.
• Qualifications in change management and/or relevant industry experience.
• Background in Communications, adult learning or training experience.

To be eligible for this role you

• Must be an Australian citizen at the time you apply.
• Will need to undertake AUSTRAC's pre-engagement checks.
• Will need to obtain and maintain an ongoing, minimum Baseline security clearance.

Remuneration and benefits

• Base pay range: A$123,799.00/yr – A$140,935.00/yr
• Annual leave: 4 weeks per year plus additional paid Christmas close down.
• Cultural, Ceremonial and NAIDOC leave.
• 18 days of paid personal leave per year.
• Superannuation: 15.4%, including continuation through paid maternity leave.
• 18 weeks of paid maternity leave.
• Competitive APS salaries with annual salary progression.
• Study assistance: up to $6,000 per annum and up to 120 hours of study leave.
