Provide a full range of administrative and clerical support services to ensure delivery of efficient and effective patient/ client focused services for the Paediatric Outpatient Clinic at Wollongong Hospital.
This is a temporary parental leave relief position until 11 October 2026 with the possibility of an extension at the same or reduced hours. The salary is $68,338.79 - $70,468.72 per annum plus 12% superannuation and salary packaging. The role is based at Wollongong Hospital (TWH) and has the reference number REQ601400. Responsibilities- Clinic reception and handling telephone enquiries
- Booking appointments and maintaining patient files
- Medicare Billing and all tasks associated with the efficient running of the outpatient clinic
The Administration Officer will be responsible for clinic reception, answering telephone enquiries, booking appointments, maintaining patient files, Medicare Billing and all tasks associated with the efficient running of the outpatient clinic. About ISLHD and WollongongWollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital with a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus includes the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre and provides inpatient, outpatient and community-based services. Wollongong is situated about an hour's drive south of Sydney.
