About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Programs and Facilities leads and develops the Programs Team, overseeing the management of the daily operations for Northern NSW Programs, being Ronald McDonald Houses in Newcastle and Tamworth, Family Rooms in Newcastle and Gosford, the Family Retreat in Forster, and the NNSW Learning Program. As a member of the Senior Leadership team, the role also contributes to the strategic development of RMH NNSW Programs, in line with the overarching national and NNSW strategies, while ensuring improvement of performance, productivity, efficiency and growth.

About you

You and your peers would describe yourself as having a positive and proactive approach with a "can do" attitude. You will have skills in coordinating and leading high-performing service delivery teams coupled with the ability to develop robust project plans and project manage simultaneous projects. If you thrive in a role that manages and supports a dynamic and diverse team, you will succeed in this role.

Qualifications

We are also looking for:

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar Leadership role
  • Proven experience in training and developing teams
  • Experience in Human Resource Management or Business Management including managing WHS
  • Skills in external stakeholder management
  • Ideally you have worked in a not-for-profit environment or have a passion to do so
Additional Requirements
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Intra-state travel will be required
  • Flexible approach to work hours including an 'on-call' element in order to achieve position objectives
