Raging Water Sydney - Tubes Team Member

About The Role

The Tubes Team Member plays a key role in supporting the safety, cleanliness, and readiness of the park's inflatable tubes and related equipment. This is an entry level position suitable for individuals with limited or no experience full training is provided. Team members inspect, clean, and manage tubes while assisting the Facilities team in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

  • Inspect and test inflatable tubes daily, ensuring they are inflated to the correct pressure.
  • Patch or flag damaged tubes in line with safety and operational procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of tube stock, including counts, repairs, and replacements.
  • Accurately complete inspection checklists and work orders.
  • Report damaged, unsafe, or missing equipment to the Facilities Team Leader or Coordinator.
  • Maintain clean and organized tube storage and work areas.
  • Assist with general cleaning duties across the park as required.
  • Use all PPE correctly and follow all WHS and company procedures.
  • Cooperate with Facilities team members and other departments.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.
  • Represent the Facilities department with a positive and professional attitude.

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)
  • Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Use all safety and personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Demonstrate safe work behaviours and lead by example.
  • Report any WHS incidents, injuries, or near misses to your Manager and First Aid immediately.
  • Actively promote hazard and near-miss reporting.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss safety topics and contribute to improvements.

Requirements

Education:

Essential

On the job training provided by Raging Waters Sydney

Desirable
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Confined space training
  • Working at Heights training
  • Manual Drivers Licence
  • Forklift licence

Languages: Fluent English

Skills

Basic communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to follow instructions and procedures.

Physically fit and capable of climbing towers and working outdoors.

Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Ability to remain calm and professional in varied weather and guest conditions.

Experience

No prior experience necessary training provided.

External: Guests/ Contractors / Suppliers / Business Partners

Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, early morning starts (from 5am as late as 9pm), evenings and public holidays.

Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy.

Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates.

Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work.

To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager, or any member of the Management Team

Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements.

Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only permitted by the applicable legislation of the jurisdiction.

You are required to be physically fit, physical requirements include but are not limited to:

Team Member Benefits

Pay Conditions:

This is a casual position from October to April, with the need to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and public holidays during the season.

Must be available to work a minimum of twice per week during the peak season 15 December 2025 to 1 February 2026.

The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award.

Tubes Team Member aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 3 hourly rate of $26.70 per hour plus 25% casual loading ($33.38 per hour includes casual loading).

Different rates apply for applicants 19 years of age and under.

Penalty rates apply for Sundays and Public Holidays.

Additional Information

There are three requirements to be a team member at Raging Waters Sydney. This includes Right to Work in Australia, Working with Children Check and National Crime Check. If you are a successful applicant, you will need to obtain these credentials prior to commencing work.
