Overview

We are seeking passionate Graduate Speech Pathologists to join our industry-leading Graduate Program kicking off January 2026 with roles available in North Lakes. You will be supported across all steps of your journey to develop your clinical expertise across the NDIS and the community. You will help participants from age 6 to 65, across language, mealtimes, dysphagia, aphasia and AAC.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from clients\' homes to day centres, parks and our clinic rooms.
  • Collaborate with a committed MDT to develop innovative solutions for your clients.
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.

Supportive Program

Our program starts you off with a full week of graduate-specific induction sessions, including a comprehensive introduction to community practice, the NDIS and life at Better Rehab. You\'ll be supported by a full induction and ongoing training.

  • Support: You\'ll be surrounded by colleagues who support you through challenges including a buddy from last year's graduate cohort to answer questions and provide guidance
  • Supervision: 1:1 supervision to help you navigate all areas of working with Better Rehab, including the NDIS and your caseload
  • Ongoing Training: 6 months of dedicated induction, training and upskilling
  • Study Leave: 4 full days paid study leave per calendar year
  • Resources: Laptop, phone and ready-to-use therapy and assessment resources

About You

We\'re after Speechies with a genuine interest in supporting participants with disability who are proactive about improvement and who advocate for participant goals as part of patient care.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with a graduation date in 2025 or January 2026
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • An NDIS check, a Working with Children Check, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
