Business Analyst – Energy & Data Transformation

The Role

We are looking for a strong Business Analyst with proven experience in the energy sector, ideally within digital or data transformation initiatives. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder management across business and technical teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and elicit requirements with clarity and structure.
  • Translate technical requirements into business terms (and vice versa).
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, data teams, and solution architects.
  • Ensure requirements are captured, validated, and traceable throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in energy, utilities, or related sectors.
  • Background in digital and/or data transformation projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead workshops, influence stakeholders, and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to work directly with engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (advantage).
  • Experience writing stories, functional specs, and business cases.
