We're seeking to fill the Operational Risk & Quality Manager role at IAG.

Joining IAG's Business Outcomes team as the Operational Risk & Quality Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for managing Operational Risk Profiles, developing and testing risk controls—particularly through automation—and embedding quality assurance frameworks across the organisation. Your leadership will be essential in supporting business transformation, driving operational efficiency, and uplifting overall risk maturity. This role ensures that functional areas are equipped to manage risk effectively through structured risk strategies and quality initiatives. You'll also play a key part in building awareness and capability in risk and quality management across the business.

In this role, you'll guide your team through regular risk assessments, audits, and the design and validation of risk controls. You'll lead the automation of testing processes to improve both effectiveness and scalability, while overseeing the development and implementation of quality standards, review frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives. Close collaboration with senior stakeholders, including Executive General Managers (EGMs), will be essential to ensure that risk and quality efforts are aligned with strategic objectives. Your ability to influence and engage across teams will help foster a proactive risk culture and strong operational resilience.

We're seeking a proven leader with experience in operational risk and quality assurance, ideally within a commercial insurance or similarly regulated environment. You bring a strong understanding of risk frameworks and standards such as ISO 9001, along with technical capability in automating control testing. Just as important is your ability to lead, coach, and inspire others while driving cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvemen

• Proven experience in operational risk management and quality assurance, preferably within a commercial insurance environment.
  
• Proven team leadership experience with ability to coach others and lead continuous improvement initiatives across operational teams.
  
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and quality standards such as ISO 9001.
  
• Demonstrated experience with automation tools to streamline risk control design and testing processes.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with strong attention to detail.
  
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions and senior leadership.
