With over 7 decades of experience, the company provides advanced solutions to protect society from the illegal passage of explosives, prohibited weapons, contraband, biological threats, toxic chemicals, and narcotics.

We are seeking an ElectricalField Service Engineer to join the Adelaide Service Team (3 engineers), providing technical expertise, maintenance, and customer support for advanced detection equipment used in a high-security airport environment.

What's on Offer

• Competitive base salary PLUS annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary PLUS on call allowances
• Tools Provided: Laptop, phone, and tool kit supplied
• Shift Roster: Rotating shifts (4 days on / 3 days off, then Monday–Friday, plus on-call approx. 1 in 3 weeks)
• Contract Type: Permanent full-time (38 hrs/week)
• Location: Adelaide Airport and surrounding South Australia

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, service, and repair high-tech X-ray and trace detection equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment faults
• Install and commission new equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronics issues (24V or less)
• Prepare reports, documentation, and contribute to process improvements
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and uphold strong safety practices

About You

• Certificate III Trade Qualification or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or IT
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in field service or maintenance
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Current unrestricted driver's licence
• Able to obtain and maintain required clearances (medical, background, and security)
