Salary Range: AUD $ 101,232 - $ 102,031 Annual Gross.

Responsibilities

• In the role of Technical Test Lead you will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements. This will also involve leading test execution and defect management. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining automation framework using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured etc. You should be a good mentor and guide to the team members. You will also contribute in creating solutions and approaches for proposals on QA for our customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 6-10 years of experience with Information Technology
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

Must have skills

• Strong experience in UI, API Automation using Selenium (JAVA), Rest Assured and Postman & Playwright to develop & maintain Automation framework/libraries, tools.
• Should be able to independently create, execute and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks.
• Experience in BDD (Behavior Driven Development)/TDD using tools like Cucumber, Serenity and Playwright-BDD
• Experience in scripting/development experience (JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.).
• Experience in Code Coverage tools like Jacoco, JSCover, Sonar, etc.
• Should have experience of working with build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle etc.
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Experience in code version controlling tools like GitHub, Bitbucket etc.
• Experience in project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally etc.
• Should be able to efficiently lead a team of automation testers which is not co-located (onshore/offshore model)
• Demonstrated experience managing and building effective working relationships at all levels of an organization.
• Should have strong communication skills and good at stakeholder management.

Nice to Have skills

• Exposure to latest trends in Quality Engineering space, like RPA, Analytics driven testing, usage of AI/ML in QA.
• Knowledge on GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot and its adoption within enterprises
• Good experience on mobile automation solutions like UFT Mobile and others to provide fit for purpose solutions for our clients.
