In House Legal Counsel, Leading Biopharmaceutical Company, Melbourne

I am looking for an In-House Legal Counsel for a leading biopharmaceutical company in Melbourne.
- The person we are looking for will have experience working at an Associate / Junior SA level in a 1st tier/mid-tier law firm or a similar In-House Legal Counsel /Junior SLC in a small-mid cap company in a health-related industry.
- My client is a global biopharmaceutical company focusing on developing and commercialising treatments for patients with various disorders as well as providing healthcare solutions for the general population.
- The role includes (but is not limited to);
- Facilitating corporate objectives and supporting strategy;
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements;
- Overseeing compliance and manage risk including disputes and cross border litigation;
- Working closely with the business to identify opportunities and
- Manage and maintain companies' intellectual property portfolio
- The person we are looking for will have strong proficiency in contract law, have a flexible approach to scope of work across multiple countries and time zones and preferable have experience or knowledge with European and USA laws
