We're excited to invite applications from both recent graduates and experienced professionals for the role of Agronomist in the heart of Northern NSW's vibrant agriculture sector. You'll be pivotal in strengthening customer relationships in Australia's largest cotton and broadacre farming area.

Opportunity Highlights:

  1. Role Overview: Report to the Branch Manager and be part of a dynamic team. Your role involves providing agronomic and technical support, alongside product sales both in-store and on-farm.
  2. Scope & Impact: Work with diverse crops including cotton, sorghum, wheat, barley, chickpeas, and faba beans. Collaborate with seasoned professionals and innovative producers to enhance farm productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
  3. Client Engagement: Foster both existing and new client relationships by understanding and aligning with business goals. You'll also organize field days and farmer meetings to stay aligned with the latest in plant production practices.

About You:

  1. Required Skills: Strong knowledge in agronomic practices, experience in providing impactful agronomic advice, and a track record in sales with fertiliser, seed, and chemical products.
  2. Qualifications: A degree in agricultural science or a related field, alongside a valid driver's license.
  3. Professional Traits: Exemplary negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
