Base pay range

A$400.00/daily - A$454.00/daily

Are you a seasoned Performance Test Engineer with deep expertise in JMeter, performance tuning, and system monitoring? We're seeking a technical expert who can dive into complex systems, deliver detailed analysis, and drive optimisation through innovative performance engineering techniques - including AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Are you a seasoned Performance Test Engineer with deep expertise in JMeter, performance tuning, and system monitoring? We're seeking a technical expert who can dive into complex systems, deliver detailed analysis, and drive optimisation through innovative performance engineering techniques - including AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead performance testing and engineering initiatives across enterprise-grade systems.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of system architecture, performance metrics, and resource utilisation.
• Deliver expert insight into:
  • Heap, GC, memory, and thread dump analysis
  • Monitoring traces and transaction/session flows
  • Workload modelling and tuning recommendations
• Develop and enhance monitoring alerts, server health checks, and utilisation metrics.
• Provide clear, actionable reporting and communicate insights to stakeholders with confidence.
  
  

Essential Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in performance testing, engineering, and analysis.
• Expertise in JMeter scripting and execution.
• Proven ability to implement AI-driven performance insights and automation tools.
• Strong experience with:
  • System and application monitoring
  • Memory/thread/GC analysis
  • User session and transaction-level diagnostics
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in enterprise or government-scale systems.
• Exposure to DevOps environments and CI/CD integration.
