Overview

G.James Glass and Aluminium is Australia's leading integrated glass and aluminium manufacturer and contractor. Our privately owned, family company employs 2000 people with operations throughout Australia. Rockhampton Windows & Doors branch provides sales, fabrication and installation of aluminium windows and doors to residential and commercial construction markets. We are looking for a focused and detail oriented Production Planner to assist in the supply and demand of product to meet manufacturing and customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor work flows to schedule the production and manufacturing of our aluminium products to meet factory capacity
  • Scheduling of deliveries and installation of our product range to satisfy customer requirements
  • You will also carry out billing, collection and reporting activities to meet deadlines.
The Person / Qualifications
  • Previous experience planning / scheduling within manufacturing, building or construction industry
  • Strong administrative background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to think creatively to solve problems
  • Experience in managing competing priorities in a timely manner
  • Ability to work in a team and also autonomously
