Westview Electronics, an Australian-owned company established in 1971, has been a leader in electronics repairs for over 50 years. We specialise in repairing a wide range of commercial and domestic electronic products, including security cameras, CCTV equipment, TVs, LCD displays, projectors, battery-powered lawn equipment, microwave ovens, and more. We are the authorised repair and service centre for leading providing warranty and non-warranty repairs across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role:

We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Electronics Technician. This is not an immediate job opening, but we want to connect with potential candidates who are interested in joining our team in the future. As an Electronics Technician, you'll be:

  • Troubleshooting and performing hardware repairs on a wide range of electronic devices, from small appliances to CCTV and security systems.
  • Following manufacturers' procedures while using initiative to solve complex problems where others may not have succeeded.
About You:

We're open to candidates at all experience levels- whether you're just starting out, seeking an apprenticeship, or a seasoned professional looking for your next challenge. Ideal candidates should have:

  • Essential Skills: Basic troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience in board and component-level repair and soldering.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with repairing TVs, projectors, LEDs screens, small appliances, and other devices. We're particularly interested if you have unique skills or experience in non-traditional electronics or niche markets.
  • A proactive/can-do attitude, and effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • Eligibility: Must have full working rights in Australia.
